Working in live Environment after BASIS training

Hello guys,

I am getting the training from the SAP Authorised education partner in SAP BASIS.Its about to complete. But i'm a bit nervous , what would i actually do after the training, what kind of profile will i get and things like that ....

I'm a PG in IT, CCNA, with 2 yrs networking Engg.

Please help me and clear my doubts ....

Hi Sanjeev,

As a Basis consultant you will be liable for administaring the SAP system.

User Administration, system administration, monitoring, transport/change management etc....

Thanx for the reply.... However as a fresher in SAP BASIS, i dont think that we would be assigned the implementation project. So the only option is for the support project ... Am i correct ?

Hi Sanjeev,

It completely depends on the organization that which type of work they assign you. Usually you can say freshers get to work in support project only but sometimes when they show their knowledge and willingness to take the work forward then sometimes companies assign implementaion project also to freshers. So nothing defined as such, its all on the work that company have, your chance & knowledge and client acceptence.
