Material stock account is not defined

Hello,

I am using a b1 system (2004b) where the production module was not used so far. When I try to create a "Receipt from production" I get the error message: "Material stock account not defined". How do I fix this problem?

Hello,

Check accounting tab --> inventory / stock account in the warehouse setup (under admin module --> setup --> inventory) that you use when receipt from production job performed, is it empty or not. you focused on the receipt from production warehouse. Let me know if the problem still persists.

Hi Japs..

actully the problem is i think regarded to the G/L determination mapping in which u did not map it. so first plz map the G/L acct then go 4 it. it will solve ur problem. But if ur item is managed by warehouse then map the acct in the accounting tab of the warehouse else if it is managed by item grp then map it in the accounting tab of the item grp.
