How to Uninstall MaxDB

Hi All

i have the problem with MaxDB uninstalltion even i stopped the services of MAXDB in the controlpanel->Services.

after that i deleted the d:\sapdb folder structure in the system.

but still the MAXDB is available in the controlpanel->ad or remove programs.

can u tell me how to uninstall MAXDB completely?

have a look at <b>sapnote 599129</b>...use <b>sdbuninst</b> in order to unistall your maxdb..do not delete directories...

Hi Andreas

as u noted , i gone thru the sapnote. but in my system i have already deleted the total folder strucuture of SAPDB in my local drive in D:\sapdb.now i dont have any folder related to sapdb.

now when i try as per the note

1) i tried in the command prompt as follows in the D drive

dbmcli db_enum

then i am getting the error as

"<b>'dbmcli' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

operable program or batch file."</b>

can u tell me how to remove the SAPDB in add or remove programs even though i deleted the SAPDB folders in my ssytem.

now i want to uninstall this and i want to install the EP 7.0 freshly.

that SAPDB instances which were already there those were belong EP 6.0.

i already uninstalled EP 6.0 but instnaces are still there related to SAPDB.

Please help?

Hello Sunil,

please check note 572836.

And in the future, please always use tool sdbuninst to remove MaxDB software!
