Hi Mohammed,

Cross Functional : Resources having knowledge on more then one functional modules. Eg. MM with PP, SD with MM etc.

Inhouse Consultants : SAP consultants from within the client's organization having complete knowledge of SPRO and other project related info.

Independent COnsultants: Free lance SAP consultants who provide services as and when required.

Core Team Members: The team from the client's side comprising people from different departments with complete process knowledge. They can be multiple from the same module, Eg. one for Inventory control, one for Purchase activities, one for Excise related requirements within the MM module.

This team is formed before the implementation starts. They are responsible for exchanging complete module related info with the SAP consultants, get trained throughly on SAP and impart training to the END USERS.

End Users: The users who will carryout the day to day transactions on the SAP system after implementation.

Power Users: Resources who have complete understanding over the business processes/requirements within the department. These resources are normally unity, representing expretise on all areas within the same Module. Example inventory, Purchasing, returns, Excise etc.

Implementation Consultants: The team comprising of SAP consultants from the implementation partner side are termed as implementation consultants.

They have clear idea of business best practices and the features/functionalities available in SAP to introduce/configure them in the client's business.

Hi Mohammad,

Cross Functional - something that is relevant to more than one functional module.

In house consultant - As far as my imagination goes, i think this term refers to a consultant working offshore on some project. You must be aware that there is an onsite support team that works in most of the support projects.

Independent consultant - Freelance consultant..........i.e. who is not assoicated with any company but is hired by a company on contract basis to carry out a specific task in most cases.

Core team - Enduser team - the team that actually uses SAP for carrying out business operations once the implementation is over.

Power users - The SAP Power User has more knowledge than the end user. The Power users help the end user when problems arise. They have more knowledge about SAP and the flow.

Master data maintenance team - It is a team that takes care of master data during implementations. In most cases its the power users that deal with it.

Finally, Implementation team is the team that executes the whole implementation process.

REWARD POINTS IF HELPFUL
