Production server restarted automatically

Hi ,

I am new to the production enviorment .

Our production server restarted automatically ,i am unable to find out the reason.

Where we can see the log for cause of restart .

IN SAP SERVER/OPERATING SYSTEM LEVEL .

Ths is on very urgent basis

you didn't even mention what system you have??

You can see a lot of information in SAP log/trace files and in the OS logs..

Please try to ask specific questions with all first hand information so that community members can easily analyze and provide you a solution...

Thanks for your reply ,

My current configuration is ecc 5 ,oracle 9i ,win2k3 .

I had checked in sm21 ,but i did not found anything related to restart of server .

What are all checks where i can find the log to analysis the problem.
