disp+work stops after system copy.

Hi,

Please help on our problem with SAP-BW. The disp+work stops a few minutes after starting the system. the msg_server.exe and igswd.exe are still running. This system was copied (db copy) from our bw production using backup restore.

We are on win2003, ECC5 & Oracle 9i

You can see below the log taken from the work directory.

Got it. The problem was due to the environment variable DBS_ORA_SCHEMA.

The system is now running.

Points will still be awarded for your effort.

thanks for your reply.

Actually, the first problem was on this lines.

Logon as OPS$-user to get SAPAQB's password

C Connecting as /@AQB on connection 0 (nls_hdl 0) ... (dbsl 640 010307)

It originally was an error until I manually created the user SAPAQB in oracle. I was not sure if it is the right action for the error.

The system was a copy from system id APB. the target system was AQB.

OPS$ problem can be ignored for the time bieng coz it is able to connect with default password.

"Now 'SAPAQB/<pwd>@AQB' is connected"

Main problem looks like its here,

Table SVERS does not exist on database!

Please check env variable dbs_ora_schema. Has it been set correctly? - Note 534765
