Vertex Configuration

My company is going for Vertex Communication tax (CTQ) and Sales Tax (STQ).

We have SAP 4.7 under Unix and Oracle 9.2 database.

I have few questions which I am not very sure from the guide.

1. One box for Vertex application server with Vertex database .... am I correct?

2. I have to configure SAP RFC to build the connection between SAP & Vertex.....am I correct?

3. Is there any Vertex database going to sit on SAP DB Server?

4. FOR CTQ, are there any library files going to sit on SAP DB server?

I have implementation guide for CTQ Jan.2005, Unix with Oracle dba and SAP Translink Supplement for STQ June 2005 documents. But I'm not sure where to keep Vertex database and all related libraries. I don't understand clearly how to configure SAP and Vertex and where do I keep Vertex databases. Please let me know if you have all the related documents with you. My email is
