Upgrade linux preview to SP13

I am trying to upgrade the linux preview of the WAS 6.40 and failing...

Could someone help me to understand the SAP upgrade process? I have downloaded and read the SP13 PDF but big questions remain open:

- The preview is SP7. Can I directly upgrade to SP13 or do I have to do each intermediate upgrade?

- When I do the upgrade of the ABAP part (directly to SP13) as stated in the PDF (unpack + move into exe/run dir) I am getting an error when logging in with the SAP Gui.

I am not that familiar with the update process in general but trying my best.

Hi Peter,

You need to upgrade to SP10 then SP11 .. SP13. You should move unpacked files to /usr/sap/trans before running SPAM transaction.
