I want to know how to add printers in AIX/SOLARIS manullay. Any body has step by step guide?

Hi Afi,

You mean at OS level?...

If thats the case use SMIT pdp -> Select Add a Printer/Plotter -> provide additional information as prompted.

Hi!

First, you need to create print queue on OS level. Please refer to http://www.stethos.com/megaform/data/HowToPrintFromUnixAIXToNT.pdf

After Unix print queue is created you need to setup SP Printer using host spool access method "L: Print locally using LP/LPR" (transaction SPAD).
