In the TMS e.g. we have three systems APP > QTS> PRD
Is all of them have a seprate database installation or same.
Will the client need to same to transport changes to other system.

No its not necessary to have the same client number

Right, Prince covered the second issue both issues very nice. One of your systems should be selected as the transport domain.

Usually there will be different database installation provided if its not in MCOD.You have to configure Transport ( TMS ) to move changes across the landscpae.
