Hi All,
We need to make sure that some of the new systems are updated in the end users logon pad. I know that on the logon pad itself a user can create an entry for the new Server but is it possible to create a batch file that will automatically update the logon pad, when ran.
If yes, then can someone guide me on the steps.
Hi..
You can just do this by updating saplogon.ini file.
PLease follow this procedure.
1) Update one system with all the entries in the logon pad.
2) Now copy the saplogon.ini file from this system.(System that results from step 1)
3) Now replace othe systems with this file. You will get the logon pad as you have in the system at step 1.
hope this helps for you
Thanks

Hi SAP Learner,
In the SAPLogon users can create entries for new systems but in the SAPLogon Pad users cannot modify the entries... basically theres 2 ways to quickly update the saplogon entries... the first one is distributing a new saplogon.ini using a logon script.. the 2nd one is using SAP Frontend Installation Server.
For more info on SAP Frontend Installation Server read,
