SAP SAR extraction utility

Hi Friends,

I have file with SAR extension and would like to extract the contents of this file. Could you please suggest the SAP SAR extraction utility provided by SAP? I guess it should be similar to ZIP utility/software.

looks like these are Archive files

Try using 7zip if you want an external utility from here http://www.7-zip.org/

You can also extract it directly in SAP if you have the

- Go to the directory where you want to decompress via the "cd" command

- SAPCAR -xvf <your-SAR-file>
