Hello Folks,

I created a testing client 007 by making an entry in table t000 using scc4.

Can anyone lemme know is there anything else to be done, to login in the new client for importing data?

Thanks,

SAT

Hi SAT,

First u may logon to source client and check for client copy logs SCC3 then select the 007 client for logs ,if it is successfully copied then logon 007 client with ddic user with the default password as : PASS unless u have to change it to default one then u have to check for the user sap* in the new client is locked or not if it is locked means ,unlock it then logoff and login in hte 007 client as the user SAP* and p/w as PASS

i hope this may resolve u..

Hello Rajesh,

Thanks for ur reply...

I have not yet copied client data yet. I guess for that I need to login into 007 client first...for which I have created the entry in the table T000....

In scc3, I can see entry under "Target Client" as 001, sucessfully completed....

Any steps are to be performed?

You need to change the parameter is RZ10 as this is not a dynamic parameter... then you'll need to restart the system.

Hi SAT,

Log on to oracle and delete the entry corresponding to SAP* user from

the corresponding client. The table where the username and passwords

are stored is usr02.

Check this statement:

del * from sapr3.usr02 where mandt = '000' and bname = 'sap*';

After you have deleted the row. you can then login with the default

password that is 'pass' in the new client.

but be carefull. doing operations at database is a risy thing. And

you should perform them at your risk. I do not take any sort of

responsibility coming out of this..

reward points welcome!

check your profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar

in newer versions by default login with sap* is disabled.
