EDI : PARTNER PROFILE NOT AVAILABLE

HI ,

In file to idoc scenario when i'm posting the idoc from, from xi server to r/3 , on executing the tcode we05 , its showing the error in idoc, status 56 : idoc with error added and mesage is "EDI : partner profile not available" but at the same time it is showing the data records of the idoc .

on the sender side file is also not being picked up , can any body suggest what could be the reason

Hi Rahman,

Just chek the follwoing to troubleshoot why file is not coming to IS.

-Go to RWB->Component Monitoring->Adapter Engine-->Communication Channel Monitoring...from there chen the status of the Sender File Adapter.

- In the File adapter..check the filename, Directory server name and Authentication.

-Check the Authorization in the FTP server..weather you have rights to pick the file from there or not.

-Adapter is active or not?

thanks for your effort, the error actually was with data inconsistency, we need to take real time data to check

your error clearly points towards the missing partner profile for that IDOC, maintain the necessary partner profile and update the control record of that IDOC accordingly....

for file being not picked up

1. check thef ilename in adapter

2. Make sure th adapter is active and is int the Sender agrement

3. Check the FCC ( adapter monitoring)

Check at receiver end, tcode we2ö if u could see the Idoc entry at inbound side.

sender side file is also not being picked up

Check

1. FTP service up n running

2. Filename or directory same as tht providded in communication channel

3. RWB - coomunication channel monitoring - if ur CC is n green status

Hi

For IDOC with status 56,

May be you do not have the partner profiles created in WE20.

go ahead and maintain the necessary parameters. then the Idoc status should change.
