can any one clear my doubt
i came across this features
ABKRS - here we assign pay roll area to EG
NUMKRS- HERE WE ASSIGN NUMBER RANGES TO ESG
NUAMP-HERE WE ASSIGN APPLICANT NO RANGES AND
LGSMT-HERE WE ASSIGN WAGE TYPES TO ESG
TARIFF-PST -PSA TO EG
AM I GOING IN A RIGHT WAY I HAVE NOT YET STARTED TIME MANAGEMENT
AND WHILE CREATING WAGE TYPES CAN WE CREATE ADDITION AND DEDUCTIONS IN WAGE TYPE CATLAUGE USEING MB10 OR SHALL WE CREATE THIS THINGS IN USEING MD007

use the standard wage types for copying according to ur requirement.. here are some std wage types for INDIA PY....
MB10, MD10,MD20,MP00...
use any stad wage type which is nearest to ur requirement

Make your customized wagetypes only by copying the model wagetypes also make sure that u copy the model wagetypes accordingh to characteristcs.
Like for example
For HRA wagetype copy model wagetype M230, as this wagetype is associated with a tax code SHRA, so whenever u maintain the Infotyope 581(Housing) for an employee u'll get a tax exemption only if the ur customized HRAwagetype is associated with tax code SHRA.
Like wise tax codes are also associated with Car & Conveyance infotype.
So before making customized wagetypes prepare a list of all model wagetypes and then make customoized wagetypes from those.

so while customizing wage types i normally take MB10 and create wage types so as per ur ur advice in order to create wage types we should take model wage type to each wage type
so as per my understansing if we create wagetype by useing wagemodels we can be associated with income taxes
