material number

hi to all ,

i have one doubt . plz explain.

there is any provision to increase material number length more than 18 characteristics?

Hi Ravi

Go through OSS note -78093 in it some user exits are given for output of the 25 digit code.However MATNR will remain the same as 18 digits which will be used as an internal reference. So whenever the material code has to be displayed/output it will always be a 25 digit code
