problem in posting stock

hi experts

while posting initial stock through MB1C i am getting the following error

<b>field selection for movement type 561/acct 399999 differs for Ext. G.A amount in LC(023)?</b>

even i tried with running a report RM07CUFA but no use?

can any one help how to solve this issue?

Hi Prashanth,

The message shows that the field selection for field 'Ext. G.A amount in LC' is differently set for the movement type and G/L account. The solution is you can correct the field selection for movement type similar to that of G/L acct. or else ask the FI consultant to change the field status group of the particular G/L acct.

You can proceed the configuration directly from the message screen. Try it.

problem solved wrongly assigned the field status variant now rectified
