unable to apply SAP_BASIS patch SP12

Hi,

We are having NW 2004s system with usage type BI. We are trying to upgrade the system from SPS11 to SPS13.

JAVA patch and Kernel Updradation was successful, but when i try to update basis patch from 11 to 12, the process runs for long time i.e more than 15 hrs. It is running in the phase MAIN IMPORT.

Can any one suggest me what is the problem and how can i solve it.

Pls note that my OS is windows 2003 and db is oracle 10g with 4gb ram.

Hi Ganesh,

Check with Slog, ulog files they will give you a idea that any import is going or not?. Then check the import logs in SPAM as well. Last option is rem. from que and restart the sys. start applying the patch.

The problem is solved by updating the statistics and the sp went fine.
