Link between Inbound and Out Bound IDOC Number

Hi ,

Can any one pls let me know that , i have 5 idoc nos now i want to identify which inbound idoc corresponds to which outbound idoc . Actually i want to find 1:1 maping between inbound idoc and outbound idoc thru IDOC Number .

Hi,

It will be very difficult to find the relationship between an inbound idoc and outbound idoc..

also there may not be 1:1 mapping between inbound idoc and outbound idoc.

For which document you want to get the relation????meaning is it purchase order or sales order...etc..

Hi,

outboound idoc is nothing but from sap system to another system.

Inbound idoc is nothing but from external system to sap system.

I think there is no 1:1 relation as such for the outbound and inbound idocs.

you can find out from the data and control records whether that is your idoc or not.

One more thing is that there is no need to find the link between the outbound idoc and inbound idoc.

Idocs are nothing but carrying the data from sap to other system and from other system to sap system that is their purpose
