Dear All,

In the Transaction MD04

Plant - XXXX (say)

Part No - A (say)

execute - will show the mrp for the part, the output shows dependent

requirement of the parts against the planned orders but these planned

orders are not exists when tried to change or display using MD12 for a certain period.

These orders does not exists but their Dep Reqmnts exists.

These wrong planned orders are giving wrong results of mrp run afterwards i.e., creating procurement proposals cosidering those elements too.

Note - All the planned orders of One of the Materials Group are created through PPDS run from APO.

Pls. explain why these planned orders dependent requirements are shown

when the planned orders does not exists and suggest remedy on the same.

Thanks in Advance

Hi Pradeep,

If the dependent requirements are also required to be planned in APO, they might have transferred all those materials, so based on BOM APO system might have issued Planned orders for the dependent materials too. Make sure APO Planning procedure settings are correct, meaning if they delete the planned orders dependent requirements should be deleted.

In some cases purchase requistions might be issued eventhough Production Orders executed at later point of time.

One thing i want you to consider, If a material is Planned in APO you cannot again plan the same material in R/3 it will give inconsistent results. If you are planning to Run one of the BOM which is not planned in APO you can do that.

Hope this helps

Not sure if it helps but Pradeep you may want to try checking the transaction data using CCR?
