CIM_ERR_FAILED error

Hello Experts,

I'm getting the following error when trying to export business systems from SLD. "Error when exporting business systems: CIM_ERR_FAILED: Unable to obtain lock for namespace sld/active" Has anyone a resolution for this? My ID has all needed SLD administration authorizations.

Seems to be your CIM ..common information model is out of sync.

fixing that should fix your issue..it did for me atleast.

Make sure

1. The objects which you are trying to export are not locked

2. The target BS exists in the target system

3. Kindly try to update the CIM file (latest version)

check these SAP Notes 837196, 939892, 864828, 837193
