Permissions for webdynpro content administration in portal

Hi,

I am working on EP6 SP12 and try to restrict portal permissions for webdynpro developers. What permissions do they need to performs administrative tasks in the webdynmro content administrator? Do they need the super_admin_role or is there a way to give them the permissions needed without giving the full super_admin_role?

I created a developer_role as a copy of the content_admin_role, but then get the message "You do not have the needed permissions to start the Web Dynpro Content Administrator".

Any ideas?

They need system administrator as well. Have you installed the Portal Developer business package? The installation guide for that business package will help sort things out for you.
