How to activate my field exit .

Hello Everybody ..

I have created one field exit , i wrote the code in that function module also .. it's syntactically correct ,but the thing is while activating its giving an error like

'The main program of the function " FIELD_EXIT_MATNR" does not begin with "FUNCTION-POOL".

I'm unable to solve this problem..please help me out ..i need it urgently

You might be checking for syntax check only for the Function module..open the main program of the FM and try to generate the same..probably it will take you to the core of the problem.

Hi,

This error Comes When the TOP include is not Activated in the Function Group.

Best way is in SE80 open this Function Group.

then Right Click on the Function group name and Activate. This will activate all the includes at a time.

Hope this will solve the probelm..

or

while activating.... u get a pop up to select the programs to activate...there select all the 3 programs u have created...i.e... TOP include, Functio group, and the function module ...which will be activated...without error...

this problem comes for the first time only...
