wat is difference b/n ABAP scripts and R/3 scripts

Hi

Both are same

R3 uses ABAP as programing language

Scripts is a chapter in ABAP

Scripts are used to send the documents to outside business partners in R3

R/3 is aplatform and language which run on it is ABAP, then how it be different Script for both.

Hi,

ABAP Script is used for design form and layouts but R/3 script is OS level programming which should done by BASIS people and u can program r/3 script by shell editor in unix...example of R/3 script is external command whcih can be executed by tcode SM69 and SM49.
