Populating a dropdown list in a DropDownbyKeyUI dynamically

Hi All,

I have a scenario where Data from one Java Dictionary Table (JDT) has to be populated at runtime/dynamically into another table.

JDT 1 has 4 columns - Category (PrimaryKey), Code (PrimaryKey) , Name/Description, Address

In JDT1, suppose the Category can be CAT1, CAT2, CAT3.

JDT 2 has 2 columns - Code (Priamry Key), Registration Date

<b>In JDT2 - the column Code must be populated with all the existing Codes of CAT1 of JDT1</b>

Am using the following code -

IWDAttributeInfo attributeInfo =

wdContext.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("DropDownFieldContextName");

ISimpleTypeModifiable objType = attributeInfo.getModifiableSimpleType();

IModifiableSimpleValueSet valueSet =

objType.getSVServices().getModifiableSimpleValueSet();

for (till all Codes of CAT1 of Table1)

{valueSet.put("Code","Name/Description");}

If at run time any Code from Table 1 is being deleted, then the same Code should no longer appear in the dropdown of the Table2.This is not happening unless I refresh the entire application.

Please help... required urgently.....

Althought After inserting a new code in Table1, the same Code appears succesfully in the dropdown..

Thanks in advance....
