power consumption

Dear friends ,

Immediete requirement from my client during post go live stage is as follows:

Provision to capture power consumption- available in plant maintenance module. Should be captured by pp module and specific energy consumption has to be arrived at. The consultant has to develop the report.

so can anyone guide me through this to help me meet my clients requirement.

Hi

You can create power as std value & add to your std value key & use it in respective work center.

Also ask your CO guy to create the respective activity type & plan it in respective cost center.

This way your client should be able to provide while confirming the production consumption of power.

This way you will get the report in PP module,

In my case we are also using power consumption as activity.

Hi,

There are two ways you can define the Power. One is define it as actvity type and use it in respective workcenter and routing. So you can confim respective production order operation to give the power consumption report.

Second one, you can use it as pipe line material and issue to the respective production order.
