integration of HR and FI ??????????/

hi ,

i am facing the followin problm:-

one of the employee has taken a loan of 50000 that has to be repaid in 5 equal installments .the problm is when the employ pays the EMI of 10000 , that 10000 is being deducted from his salary account but the loan account is not reflecting the balance of 40000 .its reflecting 50000 as loan .

So kindly help !!!!!!

Where is the loan showing as 50K? Are you using any external software for payroll distribution?

Hi Sandeep,

Have you maintained any accounts for Employee Loan postings? If not check the T.code OBYT, where you can assign loan postings to employees maintaining employee as the customer.

Maintain FI Configuration for Automatic Postings

T-Code FBKP > Automatic Postings

Choose either Postings from Loans Area or Postings from Payroll (HR)

Should work.
