how to check timings for background jobs

Hi Experts ,

I got a query regarding background jobs . Can i check scheduled time for a particular job if i know the job name and another is how do i check the log for a job which ran two months back .

1. SM37 ->Select the Job -> Goto Menu 'Job' -> Select 'Job Details' you can see the time

2. Incase the housekeeping jobs SAP_REORG_JOBS,SAP_REORG_JOBSTATISTIC is not running in your system you can see the job log.

SM37-> GIve job name and date

Hi ,

The problem is i have a job name and i want to see when it is scheduled to run and at what time . its a annual jobs which runs just once a year . Any way to see that . Second there was a job which ran last month which i don`t have now because we generally keep this data for 8 days in SAP .

Any help will be really appreciable .

Harsh,

1. You can see it. SM37-> Check both Scheduled and Released checkboxes and then you can see it. And then follow what i said earlier

2. Then you cannot view the logs. However cross check at OS Level in the directory <Client no.>JOBLG
