customer returns the goods

Hello SAP Prof,'

When customer returned goods, client wants to make a gatepass by which u can track the material returned or received.

For this what might be the solution . Plz do clarify.

Hi,

Usually the ways are to use bar code reader which might get in all details in SAP, for this you need develop a Z table with the fields in whcih you want the details to be populated.

Else the security gate personnel will enter all the details in the Z tcode and save the data.

Based on this a return order can be created by a Sales person and then move that to Warehouse. From Warehouse after he makes a goods receipt it will automatically move to Quality stock.

Go to T-code <b>LECI </b>and enter the details about the truck like time,license plate,driver and save & print it.

This return materials are taken (this is the standard configuration) into blocked stock.

This blocked stock can be moved (from MM - transaction MIGO / MB1B, movement type 343) to unrestricted stock by someone in MM which has proper authorization and "theoretically" had checked it to be OK.

The fact that returns materials are taken in to blocked stock is controlled from the movement type assigned to the schedule item category. Standard one is 651 (which is receiving stock directly in blocked stock).

If you want to change this (to receive stock directly in unrestricted stock) you should change to movement type 653.
