create the data structure

in se11 how to create the data structure, please explain in step by steps.

1. go to se11

2. go to button data type, create the name of the structure u want

3. choose structure button

4. fill the structure with the field u want.

5. After u done fill it, activate the structure

- go to SE11

- select data type option

- give your structure name

- from pop-up select option STRUCTURE

- enter fields that you want to include in structure

- save and activate

hi,

goto se11 -> select option data type enter structure name eg: zstr

click on create -> select structure. now in component field specify field names

in component type select data element for those fields.

then goto currency/quantity tab.

there specify reference table and reference field for quantity related or currency related fields

hello,

i gone through se 11 and created the data type and selected structure, after that while doing the coponent field there i have the name and component reference also after doing the data element thre cursor is not responding after that all fields, pelase explain further how i can proceed and please explain me in details.

Hi Sonali,

Goto SE11

Enter a name in the DATA TYPE field

Choose DATA ELEMENT in the pop up box that appears

Enter a short description

Enter the domain u need.

Click on the "FIELD LABEL" tab and maintain the field table labels.

Hi,

1. Goto se11---> choose datatype and click create.

2. Then, choose structure option and enter.

3. Give the description of the structure.

4. Give the componnent and component type and and press enter key, then automatically, the datatype, length, description will come.

5. Similarly do for all other components you want to add.
