Blocking possibilities at various levels?

Why does we require customer enhancement? What is material extension?

how can u make some of the fields as key fields in generic tables?

What is ABAP query,where it is used,how it is used,why it is used?

what are ABAP enhacements?

What are the RICEF elements is SAP

What tools is used to comunicate across sap and non sap systems?brief

What is the communication we use with in the sap R/3?

what is BAPI and BADI?

what are z-reports, how can we prepare them

Hi,

As for as CMR is concerned we can block at copany code level,salea area level,orde level,delivery level and billing level due to various reasons.

customer enhancement may be like adding customers communication address,contact person,insurence details,email address..etc.

Material extension is like extending CMR from one sales division to other division For example particular material is available in plant a622 and we want to sell this product from plants 1624 and 1625 also then we should extend this material to the plants 1624 and 1625by using T.code MM01 and performing copying functions from one plant to other plant and other storage location.

with help of ABAPERS we can make fields as key fields in generic tables.

I am not sure onABAP query

ABAP enhancements are something like our own requirements develoments that are not provided by standard SAP like adding new fields,adding routines in pricing ..etc.

Tolls we use from Non SAP to SAP is ALE

with SAP we use tools like BAPI,BADI and LSMW..ETC

Zreports are again like our(client)specific reports like sales flash details,batch stock detail report...etc

Hi Supraja..

We can block the material or customer in So many ways and we can block the document to be process in so many ways..

T Code XD05 here u can block the customer in any sales area wise or for delivery or Billing or Sales Order level

U can Block the material also for sales or procurement or for some other reason..

in mm02 Basic Data 2 View X Distribution Channel specific Status there u can block the material..

and u can block the Document in order to process..

Extending the material to the other sales areas or plant or other Sales line is called Material extension..
