Can any one explain me what is DATA LOOKUPS...are there any types in it or.....

Right term is DBLookup:)

Its means if you want to lookup some data in ur Mapping programme from external source then u have to go for DBLookup.

Like:

<b>Data Base Lookup: JDBC lookup

RFC Lookup : to call RFC and get data from some tables

SOAP Lookup: when u want to call some Webservice and need some response in ur Mapping..</b>
