SAP J2EE Engine could not found

Hi All,

I was trying to install java components in ECC 5.0 IDES Server. it showing an error " This Installation requires an SAP J2EE Engine version 6.30 or higher"

And my ECC 5.0 IDES installation is only ABAP system. now I want to know how to install J2EE Engine.

hi,

u can install Java Add-in For ABAP or Java ssytem.it will install j2ee engine.u can install from ecc5.0 master DVD.

Through which option I hav to go from master DVD. while I am installing Java components from master DVD its showing error like SAP J2EE Engine could not found.

as ajai said before, you have to install add-on Java server for your ECC then only you will be able to install Java components. follow installation guide and refer installation add-on Java server.
