We are experiencing a problem where our mobile terminals lock up, requiring a reset of the terminal.
This reset does not drop the connection to ECC. When the user reconnects they are prompted to drop the active session and establish a new session. Unfortunately this prompt does not display well on our mobile terminals.
Is there a way to have the ECC connection drop when the mobile terminal is reset ?
Is there a way to control the prompt, so that the user can read and respond to it ?
Hi,
small question:
Why do you want to use SAPWebConsole?
(the architecture ist out of time and wont be supported in the future by SAP).
ITSmobile is the future for live/synchron RF transactions for mobile devices.
Here the skills are not so high - just HTML is necessary.
Here you have the possibility to control the connection with the terminals.
The connection can be customized that the user must logon again after the connection was losed.
Bye
Christoph

We did appy the patch and that appears to have solved the problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, since we are in production we can't change at this time. We have applied patch 27 for the SAP GUI to address the connection problems and we are hoping that solves our problem with connections.
