Applicatoin on RF guns gets restarted

Hi,

Recently we have upgraded to ECC 6.0. After upgrade we are facing

issues with RF gun applications.

Before upgrade, if a session is dropped due to lost of wireless signal

the session is not dropped and will reconnect leaving the SAP session

intact. If you disconnect the SAP session you will automatic end the

telnet session. Seattle Labs does support our current version of SQL.

Users are in SAP various amounts of time and are dropping the SAP

session. We have forklift units that have been rock soild. We never

have problems with them and now we do since the upgrade.

All connectivity test have came back good.

We are using Seattle lab's SLNet4.1 SP2 as RF telnet server. Ans

SAPCONSOLE 6.40.

Here are connectivity test results

I have ran the niping command between the dtinsap7 and dtdcssapwms01.

These servers are in the same location.

The results are below.

C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui>niping -c -H dtinsap7 -L 900 -D

1000

Tue Sep 11 13:25:58 2007

connect to server o.k.

Tue Sep 11 13:40:58 2007

send and receive 900 messages (len 1000)

Appreciate if anyone could help to fix this issue .

Most of the RF issues surface when the GUI patch level is not in line with current release. When ever we approach SAP with these issues, they suggest us to upgrade the patch level to most recent for the release. That should solve the problem.
