jdbc driver?

We have installed the Oracle jdbc driver. Does this work with a VC installation or do I need to use a specific (other) driver?

I am able to see the datasource through the portal framework as registered data source but I can't see any of the tables or views.

Could someone tell me what I am missing than?

You can use the BI Java SDK. This allows you to connect through JDBC to any database where you have a JDBC driver and lets you browser tables and views.

Hi,

When working with JDBC/Open data base, you can't see the tables or views, rather the Stored Procedures available in the JDBC system. Using the procedure as Data service in your Storyboard, you can access the tables and fields.
