SAP - XI - File Scenario

Hi Friends,

This is my first message in this group. Now i am in developing the XI interface between SAP R/3 & File System.

This is regarding the transfer of Vendor master data from SAP R/3 to a file system as xml file.

The requirement is:

I need to fetch the vendor master data from SAP R/3 and some data from SAP APO system from LOCIO table. The link between SAP R/3 Vendor data and SAP APO LOCIO data is LIFNR -> LOCNO. By taking the data from these two systems i need to send the data as xml file to the file system.

Please give me the approch for this requirement.

Refer this blog for idoc to file :

and also

for multiple idocs.

In your case you need to use a bpm.

Hi Satish,

For SAP->XI you can go fot either IDOC/RFC(in your case use RFC) adapter and from XI-> File file Adapter.
