In our system some payroll users are able to access European payroll reports and use them. I have heard that we can restrict the system so that you can only view your applicable country and this was viewed by SAP as best practice. This is controlled thru the MOLGA. Can anyone tell me how can we set this up?
The end user would like all non-US contries to disappear from drop down menu selections. Can anyone tell me if this is possible in the HR module?

You should also set Molga to default in Parameter ID's:
System -> User Profile -> Own Data -> Parameters
Parameter ID=Molga
Parameter Value=10
This will have all Country Setting defaul to Molga=10 whenever the user logs in.
I hope this helps!

The restriction could happen at report level too. Include a Authorization object in the Europeon Payroll reports.

Under roles, use orgnatisational levels, for restriction. You can use Personnel area which is mapped to a country or company codes under organizational level restriction.
Use transaction PFCG for creating/changing a role.
If the above doesn't work, use P_orgin, to restrict based on PERSA, which is mapped to a country.
Reward if this is helpful.
