Friends,
I have a query regarding stock transfer between plants.
On 01-aug-1990,I received 10 nos of a motor in one plant.
Now I want to transfer all 10 nos of motors to another plant.
Actually, those motors are non-moving in plant1 for the last 17 years. When I transfer the same to plant2,that GR posting date at plant1 must be captured at plant2.Purpose is when I see non-moving stocks at company level, these 10 nos of motors should appear as non-moving at company level.
How to do it?
Please suggest.

Hi Sastry,
The 10 motors which you want to move are those your company assets?
If yes, then its the part of Project System (PS). Where it will start with the decommissioning of Assets and transfering it to Plant2.
Please specify your question more clearly.

Hi
There is no way it should reflect the GR posting date in plant in the stock transfer document. If you want you can note the GR date in text field. That is just for information only.
Regardingh non moving item, since you are moving form plant to plant, it can not be non moving item.
sysrtem will take every movementin to consideration.

Hi Reddy,
We monitor inventory at company level as well as storage location level.
Thatswhy, eventhough material is transferred from plant1 to plant2,we need to refer to the actual receipt date at plant1 for assessing nonmoving value/items.
Capturing Date in a text is ok.Thank you
Any other way,
Please suggest,

Not Possible, since posting is base on the MM period.
