Hi ,
We are going for REM.
The REM assembly has some components with split valuation. (Locally puchased & Imported).
When we confirm the assembly, how will system backflush the stock?
I have learnt that "Stock determination Grp" will take care of this.
If so, please elaborate on :
1. How to set STG,
2. Where to assign the STG
3. Any other paramater to be set.
Thanks
Nitin

Hi,
You can assing a stck determination rule in OPJ2 & define a SDG in OSPX.
In the SDG, you can define which valuation type to be chosen first.
To check out the conf go to Material manatgement> inv management> Stock determination.
You can also assign SDG in rem profile also. But make sure you have correct sdg as per requirement.

We are operating with REM. one way is to set the SDG in REM profile. With this, the SDG will be applicable to backflush all the components of the subassembly.
The scenario is : Subassembly has 2 components For each, the SDG is different.
Can I set the respective SDG in MRP2 view for the compoents and not is REM profile of the subassembly?
Please Guide.
Thanks
Nitin
