One scenario is like this, Assets will be utilised in projects. In Project System they want to enter which are all assets used in the project, without any finacial impact. This is for information purpose only. The main purpose is how many assets used in that particular project and also they want to track and get back the assets once the contract is over. Can any one give me an idea about this.
How about make use of the free text field in assets master and input the project code there, then you can check which assets are being used for which project in assets report.
Actually my client is doing 500 projects across india and also they are providing their own assets to the projects and they are charging the amount in bill itself. So all assets belongs to Company, the place of utilisation is 500 projects.
So in this case they want to find out how many assets are utilising in their project as well as currently the assets belongs to which place. Purely informative purpose. So end of the period they will recall all the assets to company.
So they need the assets information to be entered through project system and based on that they want to take the report in PS regarding asset. So they inform their client, pls return back all these assets which were utilised by you.
