RELEASE STRATEGY-URGENT

hello everyone,

i am currently facing a problem which is as follows:

for a certain type of material i am having a release strategy for purchase requisition which goes to purchase head(A),plant head(B), execuitive director(C) randomly for release for a certain price.

now i have changed that release strategy which now goes to purchase head,plant head and president(D) in place of execuitive director(C)

now what i am seeing that whatever the requisitions which were already released by my previous strategy is getting changed to the new one i.e. in all my previously released requisition everywhere in place of execuitive director now president is showing.

pls help me how to cope up with this problem.

problem solved.since the status is showing released there is nothing to worry.

Hi Indranil

As u have release PR with old release strategy it will not changed unless and untill u go and make some changes in it

Already releaseed PR's will not pick new strategy unless u change them

but i am seeing that it when i have changed the release strategy all my previous released requisition has changed without making any type of change in the PR.

What is the status of old PR's is it <b>released or Blocked</b>

in status tab it is showing <b>released completed</b>

in header it is showing <b>released</b>

Then on Modifying release strategy..ur old PR release status is not affected..These are in released state only

Then what is issue.

As here president is not need to release old PR's again

u check this release strategy for PR to link with some other release strgy.

but d release code is changing in PR i.e. previously it was coming as follows:

A RELEASED

B RELEASED

C RELEASED

now after changing the release strategy the same already released PR is showing as follows:

A RELEASED

B RELEASED

D RELEASED

why this should happen?it so how to restrict it?
