How to maintain inventory?

Hi Gurus,

Suppose my client has 100 brochures in the inventory at the beginning of the month. (a) On the 5th of the month, a customer asks us for 10 brochures. (b) On the 10th of the month, the marketing department gives away 10 brochures at an event.

Q). Since the SD module is not being used, what transaction codes should we use to manually update the stock in each of these cases? Please give us a step-by-step example, for events (a) and (b).

Create the diff cost center and whenever you issue the goods to customer just post the inventory with movement type 201

e.g. cost center for issue goods to customer

cost center for advertisement etc.
