: Looping and mapping segments :

Hi everyone!

I have a scenario from idoc to file.

I need to take information from different segments of an idoc to create a line for each

header i take from the idoc but the header also has a segment within from the one

i also take info, and when i try to map it to the target it just maps a segment

e.g.: the header or the subsegment, not the two that i need.

Here is an example:

Idoc

|

--Header1

··· |--Data1

··· |--Data2

······ |--Subsegment1

········· |--Data3

········· |--Data4

--Header2

··· |--Data5

··· |--Data6

······ |--Subsegment2

········· |--Data7

········· |--Data8

In that tree I need to create a register with the data in "Header1" and "Subsegment1", and another register (a line in the output file) with the info in "Header2" and "Subsegment2".

I hope i've been clear and you can help me

Thanx a lot.

Juan

Please use the node functions remove contexts.. to understand how things are working, have some dummy data in the test tab and check the Qs in the desing time..!!
