Scanning barcode into input field

Hi,

I'm trying to scan a barcode into an input field using webdynpro ABAP. Have you an idea if this is possible ? if so ? how ?

Hi Mayaa.

How do you try this? What kind of scanner are you using?

You can use scanner that are directly connected to your PC via USB. These scanner transfer scanned barcodes to any selected input or textfield. You can configure such scanners to use delimiters to seperate multiple scanned barcodes.

I'm developping an application for SYMBOL MC3000 and i would like to activate the scanner and be able to scan a barcode into an input field.

is that possible with webdynpro abap ?

Hi,

note that Web Dynpro ABAP does not support mobile devices.

Wich tools do i need to install to use web dynpro java ?

do i have to install NetWeaver Developer Studio ?? or just eclipse and a plug in ?
