Dear Phil,
I would give you the way to export IMG Notes. However I am not sure how your customer is going to load them in Solution Manager.
You can go to the transaction SPRO_ADMIN, select the project IMG and click on the transport button down the screen (third from left). You will be asked if you want to collect the IMG documents (notes) as well and here you need to say yes. The transport request will then have the project IMG and the IMG notes along with the neccessary links.
