Export file to local drive with sorting and totals in ALV

Hi,

I have a requirement to save the ALV report in excel format. I know this is the starndard functionalilty, but when i save sorting, total, sub total information is lost. How to export the ALV with the user selected layout to excel format..

Any suggestions...

Khan,

First Sort the records in your internal table. Then try to download.

( or )

The ALV layout has the option to sort and also to calculate and display the total, select those options in the layout and generate ur ALV report. Then u try to download.

Hallo,

I have exactly the same problem with my ALV-list....

I define my own layout, but when I make the download to excel, the defined layout is lost (all character rows are at the left, all numeric rows are on the right side in my excel-download)
