Proof of delivery - to be done within a certain time frame

Hi all,

i have an requirment to get the POD to be updated within a certain time frame after completion of the delivery.

Need is that POD has to be updated within say 48 hours of the delivery for transit of less than one day and with in 72 hours for delivery of one day transit. i have the POD updated right now under VLPODL, but can't find any settings for restricting the time duration for updation.

POD if not updated within the stipulated time has to be escalated to the manager..

Suggestions will be highly appreciable.

Check the POD Time Frame in sales area data - shipping Tab of Customer master Record.

Hi jack...

actually the field you are mentioning in the Customer master is for aotomatic update of POD once the time mentioned in there is up. That is the POD will be confirmed as fully delivered once the time duration is over.

I need the POD time to be set and once the POD is not updated within this time it has to be escalated to manager.

Pls suggest.......
