My current client is planning an upgrade to 4.7 (based on WAS 6.20). As an initial step, I have done some research on the various sites for this such as:
service.sap.com/upgrade
service.sap.com/enterprise
service.sap.com/releasenotes
etc.
It says that 4.7 core has "some improvements" to 4.6c but is basically built on 4.6c. What confuses me is that there are no release notes on these "improvements" - the only release notes I can find are obviously those for Extension sets 1.10 and 2.00. I understand that the Extension Sets can be switched on as required. However, none of these will be initially required by my client.
If anybody could please provide me with a link to the relevant information (ie release differences 4.6c/4.7 core) if initially only an upgrade to 4.7 core is required.
