Hi all,

I have created characteristics, classes. How to link characteristic to configurable material.How to make changes in sale order through OCM.

Hi Krishna,

For Assigning Class & Characteristic to Material is simple,

Go to MM02 select Classification tab

slect the class type "Variants 300" and you get assignment of class screen

select the class which you might have created using CL02 and Characteristics Using CT04

OCM- Order Change Management is a long process:

<u>First</u>:-

In material Master in "workscheduling" tab there is a field "<u>Overall Profile</u>"

you need to maintain it and fill the profile for that particular material to undergo OCM process.

<u>Second:-</u>

The profile has to be maintained in<i><b> SPRO->Production->Shop floor control->Operations-->Change Management for Production Orders --> Define Overall Change profile.</b></i>

Process of OCM:

Tcode CC01 with release key

in object types you need to select "Actv", "object", "MgtRec" and generate a Change Number.

using this Change Number you can change the Object you want to change it

like BOM, Material Master etc.

Then Release the Change Number using Release Key,

You can see the changes in Production Order only after put the "Release Key" in change Number i.e. in CC02.

Then go to <b>COCM</b> Transaction (Order Change Process)

Tick the Change Number and select your change Number & Execute it
